

Anton Lakhovsky. Beethoven, Prokofiev, and Couperin
Anton Ļahovskis is an internationally recognised pianist whose musical mastery has earned wide acclaim across Europe, the United States, and China. Based in London, he studied with John Bingham at Trinity College of Music and obtained a master’s degree from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
The pianist is a laureate of several prestigious competitions, including the Young Concert Artists International Auditions in New York, and has performed in such venues as Wigmore Hall and Purcell Room in London. His performances have been broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and recorded on the album Piano Extremes.
Ļahovskis has appeared with leading orchestras, including the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Latvian National Opera, the St Petersburg Philharmonic, and the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra, collaborating with conductors such as Tarmo Peltokoski, Modestas Pitrėnas, Peter Stark, Ola Rudner, Anthony Weeden, Rossen Milanov, Andris Poga, and Guntis Kuzma.
His repertoire spans a wide range of piano solo works and concertos—from Mozart and Beethoven to Liszt, Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev, and Rachmaninoff. Alongside his active concert career, he is also an experienced pedagogue with more than two decades of teaching practice. He regularly gives lectures and leads masterclasses, including events organised by the European Piano Teachers Association, inspiring young pianists and sharing his professional expertise.
